Up Close and Personal

For those who don't know, (which is effectively only one of you),

Alex suggests, we have an up close and personal concert in the large studio. We invite our friends to come, we play the songs that we've been practicing so hard for but unfortunately never get to perform properly due to lovely sleepy soundmen.

He suggests making it super chill-out, like with candles and maybe wine and some food... and lots of cushions.

And yes, we'll turn down our instrument volumes a wee bit so our friends won't go deaf.

I suggest having it just before NTU term reopens, so it'll be like a final chill session before school starts again.

Basically I don't feel any sort of real closure from the gig lah.. even though it was fun to perform. It's like we didn't sound our best, and as Alex says, just doesn't do us justice.

So this is an idea to perform our songs in our home ground, where we sound the best.

So yes, please respond.

Just another day...

So it's 10 minutes to another G*-Far talk, and honestly, I'm not really looking forward to it.
Neither is Valren, who woke up punctually at 10am for the 10am talk.

Can't wait to jam tonight. Even though I think I do a crappy Bachelor Girl. But at least better than my squawking Avril.

This blog will be updated regularly and given a facelift by Valren, he promises.

hey pseudos.. just posted the pic below cos i tink it looks quite nice... got it from my toy forum...

the brand of toys is called STIKFAS and its actually a locally produced toy... the band set even has keyboards, and a drumset... the figures are very articulated also so u can pose them...

Hey guys, confirmed this thursday, 9 June, at Ron's place okay? His house is at Telok Kurau, Marine Parade there. I'll be at his place from early afternoon, about 1 onwards, so if you wanna come help out (hur hur) you can come earlier, if not generally come by about 6pm is fine.

Gig Update

Since the set is abt 1/2 hour I'm guessing we need 7-8 songs. We'll be using the equipment from Tat's Hall 13.

Note that this isn't the "vibrant blood" gig at PS 6pm that Tat told us about earlier, his hall jam band will be playing for that. So he'll be running down to the next gig.

So once we finish our gig at TPY, and stash the equipment safely with the WSC people, we can all be groupies and troop down to PS to catch Tat in action!!

Anyway, Ron and Alex, let me know ASAP if you're on k? Val and me and Tat on so far.
