Confessions and Compliments

Hello dudes!

Great show last night.. ROCKKKK!

Okie to get the confession part over and done with:
During Somebody Told Me, I was playing the keyboard rather energetically, and then I think I must have accidentally touched some weird button, because it suddenly started playing weird rhythm beats. And the user keypad was locked. I had to turn off power and turn on the keyboard again to reset it. This happened about twice in the song! But during the 2nd time I turned it off because it was playing some weird eurotrance rhythm, it couldn't start up again in time to play the synthesizer riff that I missed. So sorry guys. Sigh.

Now on to the compliments: (variously gathered from SMSes, MSN and people running up to tell me)

- "You guys played with a lot more heart than K*KJ. And I think playing with heart is more important than anything else."

-"Well done. You all were the tightest and most well-rehearsed band of the night."

-"I like you guys better than this band (guess?). Because your songs are more known, accessible and more enjoyable."

-"You guys were damn sae3 lah.. the mood was so intense! More team spirit!" (during Say Hello To The Angels)

-"The mood and spirit was way better, really there lah. *indicates with level of hand* "

-"Tat is a different man when he plays the drums! He's like a bit possessed...! "

-"Wah LAU. I waited the whole night for your Here Again lah, then you all never play!!!!! I wanted to sing along!!!!"

-"I can't believe you guys gave up your encore to let K*KJ take the stage, then wah piangz, they got 6 songs with a planned encore somemore! A bit long for me lah!"

-"Hey u guys brought the roof down last night! Woot! *horn sign*"


And unrelated to our performance:

-"I WANT YOUR TEE SHIRT! Got sell??"

-"You all should print The Pseudos across his (Bruce Lee's) eyes or something."

-"Eh, tell me if you're selling your tee shirt leh. I want to buy. "



At first I thought they wanted to buy the very tees that we were wearing, like in a RHCP performance socks kinda way, but then I realized they wanted to buy FANware.

So how about this, we redesign the LXL (leexiaolong) tees with our band name somewhere on it, and then get it printed?? On??
